Resumo: The purpose of this article is to discuss the theoretical and methodological work developed by the Ibero-American Television Fiction Observatory (Obitel) on the theme of transmedia reception, focusing on the progression of concepts and methodological strategies. The corpus of research conducted between 2010 and 2015 is justified as it has shown that the engagement of online audiences is growing rapidly, and therefore legitimize an emerging study object. As a result, the contributions and improvement to the reception research in Brazil and Latin America by Obitel are demonstrated.

PEPG COS-PUC-SP2018-11-14info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttps://revistas.pucsp.br/index.php/galaxia/article/view/35151Galaxia; No. 39 (2018)GALÁxIA.
