Resumo: | This text reviews the book The plant of the world and the effort of Stefano Mancuso, Italian botanist, professor and researcher, winner of the Galileo Prize for literary writing for scientific dissemination in 2018, in presenting the importance of the plant world for societies. There are, in total, 8 chronicles that involve the environment, botany, sociology, politics, music, urban planning and law which, with great humor and provocation, seek convergences between humans and plants to think about another future. |
