Resumo: This paper addresses some phenomenological frames to the concept of ‘communication’, drawing mainly on the notion “life-world”, and highlighting the later’s ontology as a communication-grounded idea. The goal is to draw some articulations between them to the study of Communication from a theoretical and critical point of view. The argument is three-folded: (1) it presents and discusses the concept of ‘life-world’, stating its relational and communicative aspects; (2) it discusses a concept of ‘communication’ grounded on this phenomenological notion; (3) it draws some relationships between this phenomenological approach and some existing communication theories. Finally, it discusses some problems and limits of this approach.
