Laserterapia para o tratamento de alveolite : revisão sistemática

The objective of this work was to perform a systematic review to obtain scientific evaluations a LLLT (Low Level Laser Therapy) is a viable and effective alternative for the treatment of dry socket, in comparison of therapeutic therapies already used in the literature for this purpose. The systematic search in the literature was performed in the databases PubMed, EMBASE, Cochrane Library. The gray literature was investigated on Google Scholar. The articles were published by a criterion of selection and eligibility by two authors in a blind and independent way. After the selection of the eligible studies, a manual search in the references of these, a data extraction and a quality analysis were done. Through the search in the databases were found 2324 articles. After reading the title and the abstract, we selected 39 articles that met the criteria for inclusion (12 in PubMed, 7 in EMBASE, 2 in Cochrane and 18 in academic Google. The coeficiente of concordance were 0.835 with the present study, it was concluded that LLLT Used for the treatment of dry socket , it allows to be able to make a suitable treatment. With the present study, a conclusion was reached that LLLT used for dry socket treatment, allows for more adequate treatment and reduction in wound healing in the shortest possible time. The current literature on the subject has provided four articles, which have been evaluated and have limitations. The realization of new studies with methodological and sample quality is fundamental to enable this therapeutic practice to be increasingly performed safely and efficiently. In addition, to perform studies that also evaluate the prevention of alveolitis, in order to minimize the need for further treatment, because it is a situation that causes a great discomfort for the patient and occurs commonly in the clinical practice of the Dentist
