Resumo: Concrete hands, title from this dissertation, presented here as a screenplay and inserted in the Creative Writing area, is about the constant wanderings from its main character, known only as Goalkeeper . The hero, beyond trying to control his mysterious skills, seeks to reconnect with his son André. To achieve this objectives, the protagonist must overcome some obstacles, like Heitor, André s stepfather, and find a new meaning for his life after abandoning his soccer career. The narrative chooses different small towns, never named, as the main stage for the development of the plot. While some characters serve as mentors for the Goalkeeper, as his father Paul, others serve as antagonists. Besides the dissertation, there is also an essay on the screenplay s creative process, focusing on topics such as the choice for the title, the fantastic element and the importance of emotion in writing.

Ao longo de sua jornada, o herói, além de tentar controlar as misteriosas habilidades psíquicas que possui, busca uma reaproximação com seu filho André. Para cumprir tais objetivos, o protagonista deve passar por obstáculos como, por exemplo, o enfrentamento com Heitor, padrasto de André. Além disso, tem a necessidade, após abandonar a carreira futebolística, de encontrar um novo objetivo para sua vida. A narrativa elege diferentes cidades interioranas, nunca nomeadas, como principal cenário para o desenvolvimento da trama. Enquanto alguns personagens servem de mentores para o Goleiro como é o caso do seu pai, Paulo, outros estabelecem um jogo de tensão contra o mesmo. Adicionado ao texto narrativo, o trabalho aqui exposto traz, ainda, um breve ensaio sobre o processo de criação do roteiro, focando em questões como a escolha do título, o uso de elementos fantásticos e a emoção como propulsor da escrita, entre outras.Made available in DSpace on 2015-04-14T13:39:01Z (GMT).
