Resumo: The electric power generation by decentralized systems represents an important instrument for universalizing the access to electricity, especially in isolated locations. To achieve this goal, electric energy generation system development using renewable fuels represents an attractive alternative due to economic and environmental aspects. The present work focuses on the performance analysis of a diesel engine-generator group, 13.2 kW nominal power at 3600 rpm, originally designed to operate with commercial diesel, when fueled with different types of fuels. The test conditions were based on the ABNT NBR ISO 1585 standard consisting on evaluation of S10 and S500 diesel oils with different diesel/biodiesel/ethanol ternary blends, submitted to different power applied to the generator, varying between 25%, 50% and 75% of the nominal power. Parameters such as lubricating oil temperature, rotation, power, torque and fuel consumption between the different blends were analyzed, specifying their specific consumption. The results showed that 2% of anhydrous ethanol is the maximum percentage of addition in the mixtureThe mixtures with 30% of biodiesel and 2% of ethanol presented the highest similarity with the commercial diesel without compromising performance. No variations were found in the comparative variables studied between the S10 and S500 diesel, and the use of the S10 option should be prioritized due to the lowest sulfur content.

O presente trabalho tem como objetivo an?lisar o desempenho de um grupo motor-gerador, com pot?ncia nominal de 13,2 kW a 3600 rpm, originalmente projetado para operar com diesel comercial, quando abastecido com diferentes tipos de combust?veis. As condi??es de ensaios foram baseadas na norma ABNT NBR ISO 1585 e consistiram em avaliar ?leos diesel S10 e S500 com diferentes misturas tern?rias diesel/biodiesel/etanol, submetidas a diferentes pot?ncias aplicadas ao gerador, variando entre 25%, 50% e 75% da pot?ncia nominal. Foram analisados par?metros de temperatura do ?leo lubrificante, rota??o, pot?ncia, torque e consumo de combust?vel entre as diferentes misturas, especificando seus consumos espec?ficos. Os resultados obtidos mostraram que 2% de etanol anidro ? o percentual m?ximo de adi??o na mistura. As misturas com 30% de biodiesel e 2% de etanol apresentaram maior semelhan?a com as comerciais sem comprometer o desempenho.
