Utilização do hormônio de crescimento humano (GH) em procedimentos de preservação óssea associado ao L-PRF

Resumo: The use of autogenous bone presents a great disadvantage in having a second surgical site, however the bone substitutes do not have all the ideal characteristics. Thus, there is a search for alternatives that optimize the healing and incorporation of bone substitutes, among them the blood concentrates, rich in platelet-derived growth factors and growth hormone. However, rhGH (human recombinant growth hormone) has a half-life of 20 minutes, so when used in conjunction with I-PRF (plateletrich fibrin and injectable leukocytes) an increase in local action time is expected. This work aimed to report the use of rhGH associated with I-PRF and L-PRF (platelet-rich fibrin and leukocytes). This is presented in the form of two articles, the first one being a bibliographical review and presentation of the GH reconstitution technique with I-PRF and the second a case report using the association of rhGH with L-PRF. It is concluded that I-PRF can be used as a reconstitution agent of rhGH, as well as alveolar healing occurred without intercurrence when associated with rhGH to L-PRF and without any complications during one year of follow-up, and no effect was observed adverse.

Assim, existe a busca por alternativas que otimizem a cicatrização e incorporação dos substitutos ósseos, dentre elas os concentrados sanguíneos, ricos em fatores de crescimento derivados das plaquetas e o hormônio do crescimento. Entretanto o rhGH (hormônio do crescimento recombinante humano) possuí uma meia-vida de 20 minutos, assim, quando utilizado em conjunto com o I-PRF (fibrina rica em plaquetas e leucócitos injetável) espera-se um aumento no tempo de ação local. Este trabalho teve por objetivo relatar a utilização do rhGH associado ao I-PRF e L-PRF (fibrina rica em plaquetas e leucócitos). Esse é apresentado na forma de dois artigos, sendo o primeiro uma revisão bibliográfica e apresentação da técnica de reconstituição do GH com I-PRF e o segundo um relato de caso utilizando a associação do rhGH ao L-PRF.
