Resumo: | This text aims to discuss editorials, news and articles related to education and published by press on the CTI Journal that was introduced in 1937 by Taubaté Industrial Company (CTI). CTI was a textile industry founded in the end of the nineteenth century in the city of Taubaté. The analysis of the journal was based on a characterization script that had privileged 1937 and 1941 editions. At this time the first edition was published (1937) and CTI School Group inaugurated (1941). From a categorization based on industry, school and church concepts, the search have identified that CTI have leveraged the disclosure of a specific ethos making use of the speech and educational practices well articulated with catholic messages to defend production, public spirit and discipline of the working class. |
