Institucional exemplary and pedagogical renewal: reflections from the travel of teachers of the Instituto de Odivelas [Odivelas Institute]

Resumo: This article tries to make a reflection on the travels made by teachers of a specific institution, the current Instituto de Odivelas [Odivelas Institute] (Portugal), dedicated to education, on a boarding-school scheme, of children and young female children military daughters and characterized by their exemplary and by development, in different moments, of a set of pedagogical innovations. From these travels resulted reports, which are the main source of this work and allow us to think in travel as a resource for the legitimacy of the educational project of the Institute.

From these travels resulted reports, which are the main source of this work and allow us to think in travel as a resource for the legitimacy of the educational project of the Institute. Este artigo procura refletir sobre as viagens pedagógicas realizadas por professores duma instituição concreta, o atual Instituto de Odivelas (Portugal), dedicada à educação, em regime de internato, de crianças e jovens do sexo feminino filhas de militares e caracterizada pela sua exemplaridade e pelo desenvolvimento, em momentos diferenciados, de um conjunto de inovações pedagógicas.
