Omission of Negligence: Where are You from, Where Do You go?

Resumo: This essay discusses about the scientific work on negligence of information omission in order to present a research agenda based on the directions indicated by the state of the art of the researches regarding the phenomenon. The essay also presents and characterizes the theoretical perspectives that prevail in this research area. Through a review of national and international academic production, published between 1988 and 2014, all of the articles found were selected, totaling 19 papers. Therefore, we found that studies on the negligence of omission phenomenon are still seminal and that the literature needs additional research for better understanding of this phenomenon. By means of the scientific reading method, all 19 articles found were analyzed and a research agenda on the theme of negligence of omission is proposed, built from the gaps identified in the studies on this theme.

O ensaio objetiva, ainda, apresentar e caracterizar as perspectivas tericas que prevalecem nessa produo. Por meio da reviso das produes acadmicas nacional e internacional, publicadas entre 1988 e 2014, foram selecionados todos os artigos encontrados, sendo estes, no total, 19 trabalhos. Identificou-se, portanto, que os estudos sobre o fenmeno da negligncia da omisso so ainda seminais e a literatura carece de pesquisas adicionais para melhor entendimento do fenmeno.
