Resumo: This dissertation describes the problems of the current methods of ovulation detection and reviews scientific papers that support the connection between voice and ovulation. For this study´s approach it was necessary to develop an initial application to collect audio data. This mobile application has been distributed to women (test participants) so that they would record a predefined phrase, daily, during the ovulation cycle for a period of two months. After the collection, the data, will be treated and analyzed to establish if there is indeed any correlation between voice variation and ovulation. If the results obtained confirm the authenticity of the published data, it will be possible to develop an application based on this information in a future project. If the authenticity of the published data does not occur, a more indepth study and analysis of the data must be done in order to establish any relation between the voice variation and ovulation cycle.
