Resumo: | The LIMIT as a concept and subject aims to search for a way to identify the questions that occur during the artistic thought process. As a result, it is necessary to think concepts to identify narrower areas of study and separating the present study from the universal complexity, it is required the clarification of meanings and in the light of today's contemporary architecture. The scope of this theme entails the importance of the body as a amplifier and revealing an image, able to shape, immediately in the first moment, the bounded thought that each human being uses when finding his own space. Thus, the materiality of the shape comes as a reflex of the materiality of the body. Projected to the architecture field, the search taking place throughout this essay will touch a broad range of art manifestations, understood as artistic productions which are able to materialize all the attempts of approximation to a truth which is more explored and potentialized highlighting all the senses of the human being. The need to find a formalization of a limit as a processual process or as an elaboration of a shape generates the search of ilustrative examples, drawn not only from the images and drawings that can be collected, but also from the senses that the same artistic and/or architectural works represent throughout the Masters in Arquitecture. In summary, Limit as a perception and subject is the reflex of a thought which is continuously present during all the years of study and is now brought forward, in an apprioximation to the professional practise of architecture. |
