Resumo: This essay of a theoretical-practical nature aims to establish a discourse through the commissioning of a house project in Moledo do Minho. Questions are posed for which it is often difficult to find exact answers. However, clarity is sought as a principle. With the first drawings, loaded with a certain intuition, memory of the place and the attempt to escape the unnecessary, the construction of a project idea begins. The Pilotis appeared. With approaches to the architect Le Corbusier and the search to relate structure-infrastructure, the Swiss Pavilion emerges. This became a fundamental piece for the development of the project, as its analysis awakened and stimulated thinking. Thus, the Swiss Pavilion of 1930-1932 and the House in Moledo of 2022-2023 were brought together. It was decided not to divide the representation of the two works, but rather, through the use of graphic pieces, some suspicious, others unsuspected, to expose side by side the various project phases. In this way, the essay follows a methodology from the general to the particular. Almost like a project diary that encompasses the two projects, which, despite having a certain distance in time and scale, are very close in thought. The strategy outlined seeks, step by step, to build a discourse that helps the author to establish a path and that invites the reader to follow this personal journey, but which is intended to be universal.
