Neste contexto, foi realizado um estágio curricular na Comunidade Hindu de Portugal (CHP). O projecto Be your own Boss apoiado pelo Gabinete de Apoio ao Empreendedorismo (GAE) visa estimular o empreendedorismo junto dos indivíduos da CHP. Este gabinete permitiu a comunicação e esclarecimento de dúvidas aos intervenientes interessados e a possibilidade de criação de negócio próprio através da disponibilização de materiais e informação sobre os incentivos financeiros. A constante mutação da sociedade bem como a do conhecimento humano é hoje considerado como sendo um dado adquirido. Este facto torna imprescindível uma necessidade de adaptação às mudanças que vão surgindo, sendo que a grande solução para esta situação assenta no conceito de Empreendedorismo. Segundo Pacífico (2007), temos de investir na mudança de mentalidades, pois a resposta aos desafios que diariamente são colocados exige a mudança radical de métodos e de práticas. Temos de pensar sob o ponto de vista de um empreendedor, porque só desta forma, dotar-se-ão os indivíduos das capacidades necessárias para responderem, de forma adequada, às situações criadas pelas mudanças permanentes, quer tecnológicas quer comportamentais, possibilitando a adaptação constante na descoberta de caminhos e soluções. Este estágio teve como objectivos principais, compreender a dinâmica do CHP e implementar um GAE, que servisse de apoio à criação de emprego aos candidatos interessados. Neste sentido, é simples constatar que o GAE desempenha um papel crucial na criação de um negócio próprio, sobretudo se considerarmos as vantagens associadas à comunicação.This internship report entitled by Be your own Boss came under the Master’s thesis in Management and Entrepreneurship. In this context, we performed a traineeship at the Hindu Community of Portugal (CHP). The project Be your own Boss sustained/supported by the Office of Entrepreneurship Support (GAE) aims to encourage entrepreneurship among individuals of the CHP. This office has enabled communication and answering questions to stakeholders and the possibility of creating their own business by providing materials and information of financial incentives. The constant change of the society as well as the human knowledge is now regarded as a given. This requires the need to adapt to changes as they arise and the great solution to this situation lies on the concept of Entrepreneurship. According to the Pacific (2007), we need to invest in changing mentalities because the response to the daily challenges requires a radical change in methods and practices. We need to think as an entrepreneur as this is the only way to provide individuals, the skills needed to reply, appropriately, to the situations created by permanent changes, both technological and behavioural, enabling adaptation in finding ways and solutions. This stage had as main purposes, understanding the dynamics of CHP and implemented a GAE, which served to support job creation to interested candidates.
