Resumo: The school placement as a formative space, allows the transition from the student to the teaching profession, through confrontation with reality and a wide range of experiences in the educational community. It represents the culmination of an academic process in which the construction of a professional identity is expected. This report portrays the trajectory of a preservice student (the author) who reflects on her training path in the practicum context, namely the difficulties, fears, challenges and learning. Throughout this document, understandings about the school and the subject of physical education that materialize the construction of a specific conception of teaching are explored. The difficulties experienced in terms of planning, intervention and evaluation of the teaching-learning process are enunciated and interpreted. The option of distributed practice as a planning strategy stands out, with the aim of ensuring the learning of all students. Concerns regarding planning and implementation were high and aimed to developing autonomous, reflective and criticals students. The principles of assessment for learning allowed students to be placed at the center of the teaching-learning process, giving them the role of principal author and builder of their path. The interpersonal relationships developed in the school environment, namely in boosting internal activity and in school sports are also emphasized as a fundamental basis of my professional socialization. It is also worth mentioning the elaborated study, whose objective was to analyze the effects of the application of a training program of physical fitness related to health on the levels of flexibility, in a school population of 10th grade. The results revealed that the application of the training program did not result in statistically significant improvements in the school population. The document ends with the extraction of conclusions and future perspectives, emphasizing the great transformation of the conception about physical education in the school curriculum.
