Resumo: This paper explores the relationship between tourism and hospitality based on a descriptive exploratory study on the volunteer tourism, understood as the tours that combine the provision of the services for voluntary social causes with other tourist motivations , interacting actively in " life experience". The study in reference aimed to understand the occurrence of volunteer tourism at the headquarters of the Immaculate Conception of the Franciscan Province, São Paulo, as an emerging interstitial integration between different motivations in force in the formation of a new paradigm of tours.
