Neuropsicanálise: A Ciência da Relação Mente-Cérebro

Após uma introdução sobre a história da neuropsicanálise, este artigo explora alguns avanços contemporâneos na compreensão da relação entre a mente e o cérebro, através do método anatomo-clínico que tem sido a principal abordagem metodológica utilizada para estudar as situações de confabulação, anosognosia e sonhos. Estas três temáticas são, porventura, aquelas que melhor ilustram a importância da utilização da técnica psicanalítica no tratamento de pacientes com lesões cerebrais. Na conclusão do artigo, o autor chama a atenção para a necessidade de articulação entre ciência experimental e psicanalítica.   Summary   Neuro-Psychoanalysis: The Science of the Mind-Brain Relationship     After an introduction on the history of neuropsychoanalysis, this article explores some contemporary advances in the understanding of the relationship between mind and brain, through the anatomo-clinic method that has been the main methodological approach used to study the situations of confabulation, anosognosy, and dreams. These three themes are, maybe, the ones that best illustrate the importance of the use of the psychoanalytic technique in the treatment of patients with brain damages. In the conclusion of the article, the author draws attention to the need of articulation between experimental and psychoanalytical science.
