Resumo: Chondrosarcomas are malignant, slow-growing, cartilaginous tumors more commonly found in the pelvis, long bones, and ribs, for 10% to 20% of malignant primary bone tumors. Represent approximately 0.1% of all head and neck tumours. Chondrosarcomas located in the head and neck region account for 5%-10% of all chondrosarcomas and most commonly involve the larynx, maxilla, mandible and the skull base. The involvement of the nasal septum is extremely rare with approximately 50 cases reported in the literature.
