Resumo: "Phenolic compounds present in grapes have been widely explored as cosmetic principles, because of their renowned antioxidant activity and proven ability to directly inhibit certain enzymes relevant for skin ageing. The winemaking process generates large amounts of waste streams, thus recovery of phenolic bioactive compounds from residues and further incorporation in cosmetic products represents a promising market opportunity for wine producers, and may contribute to a sustainable development of the sector.(...)"
