Resumo: The aim of this paper is to present some methodological aspects which help to illustrate the interdependencies of productive system in technical and spatial perspective. The intermediate aggregation claims in one hand to understand the complex relationship which bases the organization of a productive system, in the other hand to bring individual behaviours together and to decompose the global level into pertinent subsystems. The use of the cluster concept permit us to join three different dimension; a sequence of technical stages, interdependencies between activities linked by flows of material and a sphere of activities of agents. The functionning of a productive system implies a spatial dimension. In order to analyse that, we divide the space in three levels: mondial level, international level and the national level. This model bring us to an understanding of the heterogeneity of organizational modes in productive set and spatial levels.

A agregação intermediária pretende por um lado captar a complexidade das relações que fundamentam a organização de um sistema produtivo e, por outro reagrupar comportamentos individuais em famílias relativamente coerentes e decompor os níveis globais em subconjuntos pertinentes. Assim a noção de fileira de produção permite-nos articular três lógicas distintas: sucessão de operações técnico-económicas, interpendências entre actividades através de fluxos de produtos e campos de estratégias de agentes. O funcionamento do sistema produtivo implica uma dimensão espacial.
