The professionalizing internship held at Solinca Club of Gaia aimed to finish the Master of Sports Management. This was developed in this organization for reasons of interest in the area and possible future opportunities. The purpose of this report is to understand the evolution of the fitness industry and present the reality of the Solinca Health and Fitness Clubs. Initially, it described the evolution of fitness industry, its steady growth, evidencing the increase in revenues, adhesions, and clubs worldwide, Europe, culminating in Portugal. Then the objectives of the internship are presented through various analyses. Sonae has several business areas and one of internship, is the fitness area (Management of the Solinca Health Clubs) where this step was carried out. The internship took place in 4 departments (Reception, Commercial Consultant, Membership and Club Manager). A case study was developed with the objective to understanding the adhesions and dropout trends in Solinca Club of Gaia with data related to six years. The results showed a decreasing propensity, but with a positive margin that, with appropriate strategies, will increase in the future. Finally, a critical reflection on all acquired skills and final considerations, highlighting the admirable personal and professional experience I have experienced.
