Recursos hídricos subterrâneos na bacia do rio Uíma, Santa Maria da Feira: um contributo para o ordenamento do território a nível municipal

Resumo: Following a multidisciplinary approach, we present the results of an inventory of groundwater resources in a sector of the Uíma river watershed, Santa Maria da Feira. The development of an inventory sheet which includes several hydrogeological aspects was essential to interpret the distribution of springs in the study area. Thus, 210 springs were located in an area of 23,5km². The inventoried springs reveals a concentration at certain altitudes, particularly, between 120 and 150metres. For the physicalchemical parameters, the electrical conductivity varied between 36 μS/cm to μ556 S/cm, the pH between 2.9 and 7.2, and the temperature of water between 9,5ºC and 17,2ºC. Finally, the fieldwork performed in the study area and the cabinet data analysis emphasizes the importance of making inventories of groundwater resources in order to contribute for the improvement of spatial planning at the municipal level.
