Resumo: This work project, in the form of an Investment Committee Paper, proposes a leveraged buyout of Sprouts Farmers Market, a US-based supermarket chain. The company and the market are assessed, and a business plan is developed, with the opening of new stores being the major value creation strategy. Given the proposed capital structure, an IRR of 21.7% and a Money Multiple of 2.7x are forecasted. It has a special focus on the company valuation and the potential exit options for the fund after the 5-year investment period.
