This work - in the turning page between school and professional practice - has for theme the poetic process taken by the contemporary architects in their disciplinary practice. The contemporary creative process - based on an experimental logic that incessantly seeks to reinterpret and to innovate - is not a scientific, rational and progressive process, but a poetic one, that searches for the fragile equilibrium between thought and feeling in the production of oeuvres that, simultaneously, raise the intellect curiosity and provide a sensory pleasure, by its proximity towards the setting and the person who experiences it. Based on this conviction, the work explores the influence of the art in the architectural project through the poetic search carried out by ten architects, who participated in the Serpentine Gallery Pavilion Summer Program, between 2000 and 2009. The analysis is based on two poetic manifestations: the conceived pavilion - "poetic crystallization" - and the architect statements in interviews, about their working process - "poetic enunciation".
