Resumo: Rangel Transitários is implementing a transport management system (TMS) to increase its operational efficiency and update its operational processes. In order to achieve these goals, the company needs to analyze their current processes, redesign them according to the features of the new system, and setup the system to meet their operational needs. This dissertation documents the work done in the survey of current processes, design of future processes and setup of the new system. Within the scope of this project, the company's processes were analyzed, based on a previously carried out mapping. At the same time, information was collected on how employees interact with the current system, through interviews and a questionnaire, in which lead times for critical tasks were collected. After analyzing the current processes and knowing the main features of the new system, two key processes were redesigned in order to assess the system's impact on the company's daily operations. In addition, some of the tasks previously evaluated were simulated in the new system, in order to measure efficiency gains. Finally, the setup process was started. Throughout this process, we sought on the one hand, to adapt the system to the operational needs of the company and, on the other, to make some adjustments to the company's operations, adapting them to the system's features. Although the dissertation project did not accompany the implementation project to its conclusion, the results collected allow us to conclude that this system will allow Rangel Transitários to perform its operations more efficiently, with less manual workload for its employees, and with a higher level of detail. Furthermore, the implementation of this system will allow the company to simplify its workflow, reducing the number of systems used daily.
