Resumo: Video Consultations are considered to have a relevant role in the future of healthcare. However ,it is suggested that significant quantitative adoption models research is lacking. Through a systematic literature review covering over 285 million records, this work project identified the six relevant papers that applied the quantitative acceptance models of technology in video consultations or telemedicine. The most used acceptance models and theories were the technology acceptance model, the unified theory of acceptance and use of technology, and the health belief model or protection motivation theory.
