Ética e desenvolvimento territorial sustentável: apontamentos para o debate

Currently, sustainability is a fundamental guideline for development, for this reason to say about the relevance of sustainable development. However, this development must pursue ethics trajectories, otherwise the respective progress does not fully carry out. Following the assumptions of the categorical imperative, the basilar conception of ethics made by the German philosopher Immanuel Kant, this article aims to show a set of scientific approaches for understanding and, consequently, operating on current experiences associated to sustainable development and innovation processes. The two main approaches are the Sociotechnical Transition - related to its different levels of analysis (niches, regimes, and landscapes) -, and, complementary to, the Geography of Sustainability Transitions - through the concepts of place, scale, and space. Finally, our study highlights the need of a structure of opportunities for the sustainable territorial development supported by inclusion, innovation, and ethics.
