Relatório de Estágio Profissional "À descoberta de uma nova realidade: Relato de uma estudante estagiária em busca da sua identidade profissional para construir uma educação de excelência"

Resumo: | Supervised teaching, which takes place in the 2nd year of the Master of Teaching and Teacher Education Program in Physical Education, at the Faculty of Sport, University of Porto, represents the last step of all academic university learning, where, for the first time, the student faces the educational reality. Here all knowledge learned during the several years, both at University and at the club as coach and athlete, are going to be tested. These knowledges are going to be more meaningful when they become into practice. This training report is the mirror of all what was done during this school year, where I try to portray in a truthful way the developing process of a trainee student to become a teacher of Physical Education. This report is organized in five chapters: (1) the "Introduction", where the purpose and objective of this document is described; (2) the "Personal Dimension", where some of my life history and experiences which influenced me to choose this area of study are shown, my first expectancies and perception about the training; (3) the "Framework of Professional Practice", where the school and Physical Education are portrayed these days, referring to the teacher's and Physical Education teacher's role, the Professional Training is described, both legally and institutionally, and finally an analysis of the context where my professional training took place; (4) the "Fulfilment of Professional Practice" includes 3 areas, namely the "Organization and Management of the Teaching and Learning" (area 1), "Participation in School and Relationship with the Community" (area 2) and "Professional Development" (area 3). Area 3 is about the study of the research about "The implementation of Cooperative Learning and Digital Technologies in Physical Education lessons: the impact in Relatedness, Students' Perception of the Competence and Autonomy in a unit of Body Expression and Aerobic". Finally, (5) in the "Conclusions and Future Perspectives" a reflection on this experience is held and future perspectives are presented. |
