Resumo: | Healthcaresystemsworldwideneedtoimprovehealthoutcomeswhilereducingcosts.Increasing demand for chronic disease management, such as pulmonary disease, is driving digital transformation in healthcare. The Kata® inhalation app aims to improve patients' inhalation techniques through a data-based algorithm. In developing an optimal platform for similar applications, European health organizations will migrate EHR data to the cloud, while using Blockchain technology in managing transactions of these data between trusted actors. Requirements to effectively integrate emergent technologies into standard operations should present a minimum risk of disturbing clinical practice. |
