Resumo: The present thesis is devoted to the analysis of the impact that globalisation has on countries with different development levels. For this purpose, data set for 178 countries for period 1970-2017, employing data from World Bank, Freedom House and KOF Swiss Economic Institute. The countries were divided into groups following classification proposed by United Nations and an augmented endogenous growth model was used as basis, also adding globalisation and other variables. For each country group, impact of social, political, economic (with respect to trade balance) and overall globalisation (with respect to trade balance) was tested. According to the results, social globalisation has positive impact for growth of developed countries, political globalisation – positive impact for economies in transition, meanwhile, economic dimension of globalisation has negative immediate impact on growth of developing countries.
