‘Viva & Conheça Natal’ is a proposal of a digital platform based on a gamefication process for mobile devices interconnected with a web server. Using this platform, both tourists and locals, especially high school students can acquire information and knowledge about the history, culture and tourism of the Capital of Rio Grande do Norte, Natal. The use of gamefication allows the learning process flows in a playful and entertaining way. For the tourist, as well as source of information, the digital platform can be a digital aid in the discovery of the wonders offered by the city. In addition, the platform can be associated with various tourist appliances such as hotels, bars, restaurants and other services (buggy rides, visits, etc.) to allow the possibility to offer to the winners of certain checkpoints and levels of the game, freebies, discounts and deals. This digital platform will use various innovative Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) as augmented reality (sound, image and text), QR codes, GPS (geo-referenced maps and check-ins), Local Panoramic Mapping (LPM), among others.
