Resumo: | Aims to delve into the intricate relationship between urban and human spaces. This research covers a wide range of scales, morphologies, territorialities, identities, and communities, with a focus on comprehending how these spaces are shaped and their impact on collective daily life, rather than focusing solely on construction. Specifically, the research explores the relationship between territory and community, considering geographical, political, and economic factors that shape and define urbanity and humanity. Based on this premise, this investigation also relates the problems exposed to a specific object of study, that aims to gain a better understanding of the common space, considering it the outcome of administrative procedures and infrastructure development. To confront the difficulties posed by a fractured reality, this investigation endeavours to adopt a more democratic and alternative approach that encompasses urban planning in a way that also considers cases that are often disregarded or deemed unimportant. It is essential for this dissertation to discover methods and practices that enable a less deterministic and more contextual planning of the territory, establishing landscape connections and creating identities within communities. This dissertation is divided into two sections. The initial part will delve into the case study framework, contextual factors, and variables that have contributed to the investigation's impetus. The second part explores the approach that emerged from the investigation, aiming to create more democratic and legitimate solutions. However, it is not intended to be a definitive solution but rather an analytical and ongoing reflection on the pertinent issues. Despite being divided into parts, the line of reasoning follows a series of related and interconnected questions. |
