Resumo: Underlining the importance of the so-called colonial literature, both for Portugal and for African national literatures, the article discusses the case of Guilhermina de Azeredo (1894-1976), studying the eighteen texts she published in Acção, a newspaper ideologically aligned with Salazars Estado Novo.
