Da terra ao azul : a prática da paisagem, elo entre a natureza e o espírito

The natural landscape emerges as a referent and theme of reflection in this project. I propose as the title "From the earth to the blue", an expression which refers to real life and idyllic into the landscape - that is the basis on which work. This is a theoretical-practical project in which personal experience with natural places has led to a realisation in painting, i.e., this dissertation is based on a practical experience that arose out of a personal experience. It is this which derives the theoretical component is also essential. "From the Earth to the blue", is a reflection that portrays, in summary, the development of this project where the work comes from the earth and the dream. The earth (the concrete landscape) and blue (the dream), prove to be elements that are interconnected - and these depend the creative process that inspires me to paint. The natural landscape has an important role as a means of thinking a way of being. Is the desire to know and to think artistically nature something timeless in the course of history? Why, nowadays, it is pertinent to address, in a work of art, the intense search for natural places? Is the demand of the landscape an exoticism? These were questions that the development of my work has raised and, therefore, to which I have proposed to respond, even partially, this reflection on the works that I have come to produce
