Resumo: The main aim of this research project is to relate art to nature, considering them in a symbiotic relationship. Following what has already been done by other artists, the aim here is to bring a new pulse to the concept of ecology, nature and symbiosis, because for me, talking about nature in the 21st century implies talking about these concepts. Taking into consideration the works of Land art and Environmental art, I learn from and catalyse them through my surrealist sculptures, which represent humanized natural elements, corrupted by human beings. This work shows how there are still communities nowadays living in symbiosis with the natural environment, with the goal of raising the question of what nature represents and what ecology is. It explores the artistic movements of Land art and Environmental art in order to contextualize the paradigm of nature and ecology. In essence, this is a reading of my exploration of how art, specifically sculpture, relates to nature symbiotically and is able to make the viewer aware of the ecological urgency
