The dissertation here presented is about Drawing in visual communication through the study of pictograms. Throughout this paper we realize the importance that drawing has as a way to communicate and as a way to provide service to that communication. We realized that the drawing is subject to an acknowledgment to carry out its functions as a visual message and that such recognition is possible only when there is a surrounding context or familiarity with the project. Based on this, we prepared a set of pictorial illustrations that tell the story Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll. We have used this narrative because the characters and scenes are of common knowledge, ensuring that the production and presentation of the pictograms were successful in terms of recognition. Presented with this paper, we understand the power that an image has in communication, and the fact that we are visual beings ensures images to communicate more effectively, elevating the visual communication to a higher level than written language
