While more European countries are joining this initiative, it faces significant challenges due to territorial differences and geographical distances, resulting in significant differences in trade volumes, commodity compositions, investment and construction scopes between China and European nations. As a result, the effects of the Belt and Road Initiative vary substantially across different regions. According to descriptive and quantitative analysis, this dissertation explores the influence of the Belt and Road Initiative on the economies and trade of China and the European countries contracting along the Belt and Road. The results showed that the trade volume and product types between China and countries along the route varied, and there was a significant difference in China's foreign investment.
