Resumo: This report presents the curricular internship carried out at the company &samhoud creative tech, with the development of the practical project WKZ maatje AR application game to the Wilhelmina Kinderziekenhuis Children’s Hospital (WKZ). The goal was to help the WKZ young patients to feel more at ease and decrease anxiety and stress before, during, and after surgery with an AR application game. The project was completed during my internship with &samhoud creative tech team at the Department of Graphic in Amsterdam from October 5th, 2017 until February 28th, 2018. The report is divide into four chapters. The first chapter describes the personal motivations for the internship, the company description and methodologies and the internship schedule. The second chapter presents the theoretical context of the areas of digital image, UX & UI methodologies and game design for developing a game application. The third chapter corresponds to the practical project of the internship – WKZ maatje AR application game. In the fourth chapter, the conclusions about the development of the curricular internship and the practical results obtained are presented.
