Resumo: What I propose in this article is to analyze excerpts from Le fond de l’air estrouge, particularly those in which Fidel Castro and Che Guevara appear as protagonists, revealing their significance in the sixties and seventies context. In the film, that frames the events of 1968, Chris Marker grants great matter to the Latin American context, especially in what regards the relations between guerilla and the anti-imperialist movements around the world.
