Resumo: The present dissertation proposes to reflect upon the work of Le Corbusier regarding the significance of landscape in his architectural discourse. Taking into consideration Le Corbusier's travels, writing and buildings, a progressive definition of the theme and the development of the design process will be studied, highlighting two works: Villa Savoye (1928-31) and the Convent of La Tourette (1953-1959).
