Resumo: | Electric energy is one of the forms of energy that most used today, thanks to its versatility, ease of production and transportation, electric energy thus becomes a vehicle for promoting the society itself, revolutionizing various sectors, from transport to communications. In an increasingly complex world and an increasingly aware society with the environment, it becomes inevitably necessary to adopt the concept of it, not only to improve the user's comfort, but also in terms of their safety, providing the equipment with the ability to integrate with its surrounding environment. With the monitoring of residential electrical consumption, is possible to reduce energy waste while preserving the user's comfort level, as well as predicting the breakdown of equipment with constant monitoring of energy consumption. In this sense, the objective of this dissertation was to design, develop and implement a system capable of monitoring the energy consumption of various equipment connected to the electricity grid. The development of this project consisted of several phases, namely, the theoretical study of the state of the art with the market analysis of existing solutions that fully or partially meet the proposed objectives, the choice of components, development of hardware and software and finally the testing and validation phase of the system. The designed system consists of three different devices. The Master will be responsible for managing the entire network, storing the data collected and finally hosting the graphical interface. Several Slaves that only monitored energy consumption. At last, there will be a device with the same configuration as a Slave, but instead of only monitoring the consumption of a single device, it will be monitoring the consumption of all devices present in the electrical grid. The communications network built makes use of the electrical network as a means of propagation. In order to be able to visualize the data collected by the system, a graphical interface was developed based on a web platform, so any type of device capable of accessing the Internet will be able to visualize and interact with the graphical interface. |
