Resumo: The concept of digital curation is relatively recent and is still evolving. In addition, collaborative curation in digital platforms is not a very explored concept. However, this area of action of Information Science is of importance, considering the wide proliferation of digital content of a scientific nature. Therefore, digital curatorship seems to play an increasingly fundamental role in the management, preservation and evaluation of audiovisual content. To better understand the theme in question, a theoretical study was carried out on the areas of study and the relevant concepts that would support the work to be developed. As such, the digital curation and all the concepts inherent to it were addressed, specifically the curation of data and content, and particularly, the collaborative curation. The concept of metadata and an evaluation tool for scientific digital content were also mentioned. This case study focuses on the CHIC Science platform, which seeks to meet a need, which is related to the lack of high quality scientific audiovisual content repositories. It is intended that the contents be consumed in learning contexts and, therefore, the solution is to evaluate and communicate the quality of audiovisual content. To achieve this goal, the platform needs a curatorial component that allows curators to evaluate scientific content. In order to approach these problems, the methodology of Requirements Engineering, based on the work developed by Klaus Pohl, was used. In this way, it was possible to specify the platform requirements, which will later be converted into platform functionalities. It resulted in the creation of scenarios and use cases that gave rise to the specification of the platform requirements, as well as the definition of content evaluation criteria. In addition, a metadata structure has been created for the description of audiovisual content.
