Resumo: Objectives: Describe and systematize the clinical characteristics of lymphomas diagnosed in the otorhinolaryngology department of the Hospital Garcia de Orta (HGO) in the last five years.Study design: Retrospective case revision.Material and methods: Revision of cases diagnosed with lymphoproliferative disorders diagnosed in the otorhinolaryngology department of the HGO between 2008 and 2012. A data extraction table of the health records was made with variables defined previously between the authors. Results: A revision of the electronic health records yielded 21 cases of lymphoma and 3 of plasmacytoma. We found a mean age of 66 years and a proportion of 1.4:1 favouring the female gender. The B cell lymphoproliferative disorder was predominant, being the culprit in 83% of the cases, of which the diffuse large B cell lymphoma was the most frequent. The three primary of locations were: cervical, oropharynx and nasal cavity in 29%, 25% and 17% cases, respectively. Conclusions: In comparison to existing literature, we obtained similar results concerning variables like age of diagnosis, presentation locations and histology.
