Ce travail est centré sur une étude d’ordre istorique et patrimonial sur un bien à intérêt historique: la manufacture de draps militaires de Tébourba, située au Nord-Est de la Tunisie. Au début du XIXème siècle, un vaste mouvement de réformes militaires avait eu lieu dans l’empire Ottoman et ces provinces. C’est sous Amed Bey (1837-1855) que l’expérience tunisienne est commencé. Ces réformes ont eu une prégnance tant sur le plan institutionnel, que social, politique et culturel et témoignent de la première initiative de l’installation de l’industrie lainière en Tunisie, sujet de ce travail. Cette recerce est basée sur un certain nombre d’axes. Notons dans ce cadre, l’axe historique, architectural, sociale, antropologique et patrimonial. Le lien entre l’industrie lainière et les réformes militaires est le centre de la première partie. C’est le résultat d’une réflexion basée sur l’analyse de la situation de la régence de Tunis au début du XIXème siècle, sur l’objectif des réformes et sur la portée de l’industrie lainière. L’établissement de ce projet a produit un grand courant d’écanges avec l’Europe aux niveaux tecnique et matériel pour l’édification et l’équipement de cette unité de production. C’est à travers le deuxième chapitre que nous avons cité la première phase de vie de la fabrique, de son établissement jusqu’à la production. La deuxième pase c’est le dysfonctionnement qui était la suite de plusieurs facteurs élaborés dans le troisième chapitre. Ce grand projet commencé dans un élan d’entousiasme mourra plus tard laissant comme éritage des pertes économiques considérables et un grand bâtiment qui a subi de différentes transformations à travers le temps. Aujourd’ui le bâtiment se trouve en très mauvais état et d’ici, nous allons voir la perception de l’INP et les différents acteurs consternés à propos de la manufacture et nous allons présenter nos propositions pour la mise en valeur et l’exploitation de ce bien à fin qu’il soit intégré dans la vie sociale et économique de la ville; Title: The military cloths factory of Tebourba-Tunisia: History and heritage Abstract: At the beginning of the 19th century, a vast movement of military reforms had taken place in the Ottoman Empire and its provinces. It was under Ahmed Bey (1837-1855) that the Tunisian experience began. These reforms had an impact on the institutional, social, political and cultural and witness the first initiative of the meccanization of textile industry in Tunisia, subject of this work. This research is based on a number of axes. In this context, we note the historical, architectural, social, anthropological and patrimonial axis. The link between the wool industry and the military reforms is the focus of the first part. It is the result of a reflection based on the analysis of the situation of the regency of Tunis at the beginning of the nineteenth century, on the objective of the reforms and on the scope of the wool industry at the time of the reforms and the wars in general. The establishment of this project has produced a great current of exchange with Europe at the technical and material levels for the construction and equipment of this production unit. In the second chapter we have mentioned the first phase of the factory's life, from its establishment to production. The second phase is the dysfunction which was the result of several factors elaborated in the third chapter. This great project started in a burst of enthusiasm will die later leaving as a legacy considerable economic losses and a great building that has undergone different transformations through time. Today the building is in a very bad state and from here we will see the perception of the INP and the different dismayed actors of the state of the factory and we will quote our proposals for the development and exploitation of this property so that it is integrated in the social and economic life of the city.
