Resumo: By rebutting genre homogeneity as the guiding principie of textual assemblage in Cal, José Luis Peixoto converts the obvious inclusion of these texts which share the physical-symbolic space o f the whitewash into a kind of replacement or derivative architext, while suggesting the resemblance of such space with the multiple whitewash circuits depicted in a well known lyrical sequence by Carlos de Oliveira («Estalactite», included in Micropaisagem).
