Resumo: The spirituality of landscape. Ideas on nature. Studying and synthesizing ideas from different authors, we observed that nature is referred to as a reality which alludes to an internal characteristic. It is considered to have no parts, that is, it is the unity of a whole. Nature has an endless connection between its different elements, which is expressed in the continuity of spatial and temporal existence. Its contemplation means that the spirit is directed to the wholeness. Landscape is limited, however, when we understand and become aware of that, each landscape element, within its particular limits, opens from itself to continue the flow of the unlimited of universal life in nature. In landscape, we enter nature from the corporality, when we walk and wander, privileging the sense of unification. And, on the other hand, landscapes are also linked to the memories given by communities, representing exceptional places that bond the social fabric together. The aesthetics of spirituality in landscape involves knowing how to deeply observe the nature that links the aesthetic and spiritual spheres. It is an aesthetic that transforms man through the phenomena of the beauty of the landscape. Tantra sadhana or the effort for unity in the landscape. Tantra is a millennial spiritual path in which there is a practical process that guides the expansion of oneself through meditation and, meditation, are ideal practices to realize the Infinite Consciousness reflected in nature consequently, the practitioner may eventually reach the maximum realization of his/her existence. Tantra recognizes oneness as the foundation from which all mind and matter are composed. Therefore, it is possible to say that perception and contemplation in nature, along with, which is the space where landscape takes shape. Aesthetics of vacuum in landscape painting. The vacuum is not something vague and nonexistent, but an element which has dynamic and active excellence. It is linked to the idea of vital energy, to the principle of alternation and to the concept of Yin and Yang. It constitutes the place par excellence where transformations take place and where the fullness can reach true plenitude. According to Taoism, in vacuum, man finds the possibility of knowing the whole universe that envelops him. In painting, vacuum is represented as unpainted space. It can occupy much of the surface of the canvass or paper. The emptiness is not an inert presence, it could be said that it is rather the vital energy that travels through it and in this way links the visible world to an invisible world through the pictorial. Finally, the Master Unit Ananda Kalyani (a propitious place to achieve bliss through its beauty), an ecological-social community project of integral human development, is the reason for the pictorial project. Experiencing the place, through daily life and meditation was the starting point. Sketches, photographic records and preparation of supports constituted the next stage. As far as painting is concerned, several formal, compositional and technical elements were experienced and reflected upon; however, the real purpose was that painting became a spiritual act in itself, thus evoking the landscapes of the Master Unit Ananda Kalyani. This project culminated in two exhibitions in Lisbon
