Para o efeito, estabelece-se um diálogo entre a arquitetura e a poesia, com o intuito de retirar desta última a visão do ambiente sensível e impalpável da cidade, acedível pela experiência do espaço — a dimensão incorpórea.Considerando o espaço temporal entre 1875 e 2020, Lisboa é analisada na forma como é experienciada, percebida e acolhida no imaginário de quem usufrui do espaço urbano, através dos poemas que refletem (objetivamente) a vivência e perspetiva do poeta-utilizador. Após um mapeamento poético e imagético, condensa-se numa imagem consubstanciada o nível impalpável da arquitetura da cidade que, acredita-se, alcança significado na coletividade. Desta decomposição, enunciam-se espaços que são, depois, analisados quanto à sua componente física, através da representação rigorosa, imagética e escrita.As ilações a retirar da comparação considerada, espera-se, permitem averiguar inúmeras possibilidades: a de desenvolver, proveitosamente, pontes interdisciplinares; a de assumir uma imagem da cidade a partir de determinados elementos; a de perspetivar o desvirtuamento da autenticidade da arquitetura; e a de perceber, ademais, que preocupações devem ser contempladas pelos arquitetos no momento de discutir e intervir na cidade.Como última conclusão, ambiciona-se a verificação da essencialidade de uma abordagem e consciência que compreendam e conjuguem ambas as dimensões corpórea e incorpórea da arquitetura — primeiro, enquanto capacidades identitárias da cidade e, depois, de modo a perspetivar o presente e futuro desta.Stimulated by a (more) complete understanding of architecture, this dissertation problematizes the relationship between the corporeal and incorporeal dimensions of the city and the way they decode its expressiveness. To this end, a dialogue is established between architecture and poetry, with the aim of obtaining from the latter the vision of the sensitive and impalpable environment of the city, approachable through the experience of space — the incorporeal dimension. Considering the temporal space between 1875 and 2020, Lisbon is analyzed in the way it is experienced, perceived and accepted in the imaginary of those who use and occupy the urban space, through poems that reflect (objectively) the experience and perspective of the poet-user. After a poetic and imagery mapping, the impalpable level of the city's architecture is condensed into a substantiated image which, is believed, reaches meaning by its collectivity. From this decomposition, spaces are enunciated and are then analyzed in terms of their physical component, through rigorous, imagery and written representation. The lessons to be learned from the comparison considered, it is expected, allow to ascertain numerous possibilities: to develop, profitably, interdisciplinary bridges; to assume an image of the city from certain elements; to observe the distortion of the authenticity of architecture; and to realize, moreover, which concerns should be contemplated by architects when discussing and intervening in the city.
