Collective Care in Primary Health Care: training of professionals

Resumo: The collective care in primary health care is one of the actions to be developed so that it can constitute integrality in the attention to the people in the territories, being vital to reflect on professional training in health. The objective was to analyze the initial and permanent training of professionals, from the Primary Health Care team, to carry out the practices of collective care. A qualitative, exploratory and descriptive study was carried out, with interviews with dentists, physical educators, nurses, physicians and psychologists of the Basic Health Unit and the Family Health Strategy of a city in the state of São Paulo, Brazil. The data were processed by content analysis, thematic modality. It was learned that the practice of collective care is carried out through groups, public health campaigns and user orientations, still based on the biomedical model, focused on individual actions. The formation of undergraduate and postgraduate courses was based on the concept of public health, however, psychologists and physical educators demonstrate initial changes in their practices, for constructing theoretical-practical reflections during postgraduate program activities and support from their professional’s class councils. Proposals for changes were identified, referred to by health professionals, based on the formation and organization of care, with the health care model for collective care as the axis of restructuring. It is necessary to invest in strategies with the managers for the constitution of processes of changes in the initial and continuous training of professionals.

Se pretendió analizar la formación inicial y permanente de los profesionales, del equipo de Atención Primaria a la Salud, para realizar las prácticas del cuidado colectivo. Se realizó una investigación cualitativa, exploratoria y descriptiva, con recolección mediante encuestas con dentistas, educadores físicos, enfermeros, médicos y psicólogos de Unidad Básica de Salud y de Estrategia de Salud de la Familia de un municipio del estado de São Paulo, Brasil. Los datos fueron procesados por el análisis de contenido, modalidad temática. Se percibió que la práctica del cuidado colectivo se realiza mediante grupos, campañas de salud pública y orientaciones al usuario, aún fundamentadas en el modelo biomédico, enfocada en acciones individuales. La graduación y el postgrado se basaron en la concepción de salud pública, pero psicólogos y educadores físicos demuestran cambios esenciales en sus prácticas, por construir reflexiones teórico-prácticas durante las actividades de programa de postgrado y apoyo del consejo de administración de clase. Se identificaron propuestas de cambios, referidas por los profesionales de salud, reglados en la formación y en la organización del cuidado, teniendo como eje de reestructuración el modelo de atención a la salud para realización del cuidado colectivo. Hay necesidad de invertir en estrategias para la constitución de procesos de cambios en la formación inicial y continua de los profesionales.O cuidado coletivo na Atenção Primária à Saúde mostra-se como uma das ações a serem desenvolvidas para que se possa constituir a integralidade na atenção às pessoas nos territórios, sendo vital refletir sobre a formação profissional na saúde. Objetiva-se analisar a formação inicial e permanente dos profissionais, da equipe da Atenção Primária à Saúde, para realizar as práticas do cuidado coletivo. Realizada pesquisa qualitativa, exploratória e descritiva, com coleta por meio de entrevista com dentistas, educadores físicos, enfermeiros, médicos e psicólogos de Unidade Básica de Saúde e da Estratégia Saúde da Família de um município do estado de São Paulo, Brasil. Os dados foram processados pela análise conteúdo, modalidade temática. Captou-se que a prática do cuidado coletivo é realizada por meio de grupos, campanhas de saúde pública e orientações ao usuário, ainda fundamentadas no modelo biomédico, focada em ações individuais. A formação da graduação e pós-graduação foi fundamentada na concepção de saúde pública, porém, os psicólogos e educadores físicos demonstram mudanças iniciais em suas práticas, por construirem reflexões teórico-práticas durante as atividades de programa de pós-graduação e apoio do conselho de classe. Foram identificadas propostas de mudanças, referidas pelos profissionais da saúde, pautadas na formação e na organização do cuidado, tendo como eixo de reestruturação o modelo de atenção à saúde para a realização do cuidado coletivo.
