Resumo: | The present report entitled "The space of creativity in the Visual Education discipline", stems from the Pedagogical Internship carried out within the scope of MEAV in the academic year of 2020/2021. A detailed reflection is presented here on the experience of personal and professional training provided by the internship, addressing the journey since arrival at Manuel Laranjeira Secondary School and relationships established with teachers and students, to the observation of classes as a trainee teacher and their problematization, until the construction, presentation and evaluation of the Didactic Unit implemented. The reflection on various questions regarding the pedagogical practices in the Visual Education subject converged on the theme of creativity and the relative importance given to it, which became the structuring motto and the guiding thread to elaborate the Didactic Unit in a class of 7th year of schooling, in the Visual Education subject. Referenced to the fields of Psychology, Educational Sciences and Visual Arts, I seek to provide myself with different perspectives on the concept of creativity to critically reflect on the conditions that the school provides for the development of a Visual Education focused on creativity and evolution the creative potential of students, and the formalist and technical restrictions that remain allied to this discipline, leading to many students not being able to express their subjectivities with freedom, having a distorted opinion about their creative potential. The proposal to carry out a set of exercises aimed at awakening the creative potential of students implied the adaptation of the Didactic Unit to its teaching in the context of distance education; experience in which positive aspects are recognized, but also constraints that are the object of critical analysis. Finally, it reflects on the learning carried out during the two years of training at MEAV, as well as the contributions of the internship experience as ways of building my vision as a future teacher. |
