Experience of the tourists visiting the National Park “Accursed Mountains” in Republic of Kosovo

The wealth of natural resources in a destination is presented as one of the main factors for tourists to visit, or to decide to travel and get to know as many previously undiscovered places as possible, but as well as new different cultures of nations of the world and to have new experiences for things not experienced before. The conscious encouragement to experience the heritage of nature, always in achieving the tourism goals, means that this is the manner for new jobs to be created, poverty to be reduced, and can affect the prevention of migration of the population in rural areas, but also to express the positive feeling of being proud for both local people and tourists. Tourism as an activity can also provide strong support in the protection and preservation of natural heritage, but must be also managed with particularity. Tourists, always or in general, are very interested in natural destinations (forests, hills and mountains, streams and rivers and lakes, as well as landscapes and various natural motifs), not only in NP Accursed Mountains as a tourist destination, but in all other parts or destinations of Kosovo. Since NP Accursed Mountains are a key destination in Kosovo, the paper intends to analyze the experience of the tourists, where the findings from the research would help detect problems and thus improve and/or advance the tourists’ stay and overall experience in the destination.
